Programs:

Annual Summer Fill Program (W.A.C.)

Discounted propane pricing during the summer months for customers who wish to fill their tanks for winter and take advantage of traditionally lower-priced propane. During May, June, July, and August we offer our annual summer fill/early fill program. This program ends August 31st of each year. If you fill your tank or order a minimum of 200 gallons or more you qualify for this special pricing. Prices are subject to change at any time.

30-60-90 Day Financing Contract (W.A.C.)

This program is available on Summer Fill deliveries that are 300 or more gallons. The total delivery amount is divided into 4 equal payments with the first one due at the time of signing. Please ask for the “30-60-90” day financing when placing an order to get prior approval from the Credit Dept. This option is only available once a year specifically for Summer Fill only with prior credit approval.

Budget Bill Contract (W.A.C.)

Get the convenience of a consistent monthly payment for your heating budget. The program starts in June and runs for 12 months, with May being the settlement month. We estimate your annual propane usage in May and lock in your price on a contract. You then receive the contract which you sign and return with your first payment to activate the agreement. The account is settled in May. This may result in a balance or credit depending on actual consumption. Terms and conditions apply. Payments can be made by ETF/ACH, Credit/Debit Card, Check, or Cash.

WINTER CONTRACTS:

Fixed Price Contract (Minimum 500 gallons) (W.A.C.)

Get a fixed-price contract for propane during the months of September through May. This contract is generally best when locked in during June, July, or August and has traditionally saved our customers money by beating the high winter prices. To participate you must book a minimum of 500 gallons and a signed contract must be on file to participate. If contracted gallons are not purchased by May 15th you will lose the right to purchase at the locked-in price and are subject to a $.20/gallon re-stocking fee if at least 50% of gallons are not delivered. The contracted price begins to apply to booked gallons on Sept 1 of the same year.

Prepaid Price Contract (Minimum 500 gallons) (W.A.C.)

Get a discounted fixed-price contract for propane during the months of September through May. This contract is generally best when locked in during June, July, or August and has traditionally saved our customers money by beating the high winter prices. You must pay for a minimum of 500 gallons. Payment for gallons contracted must be paid for in advance and a signed contract must be on file to participate. If contracted gallons are not purchased by May 15th you will lose the right to purchase at the locked-in price. The contract begins to apply toward your paid gallons on Sept 1 of the same year.

How does a propane tank work?

A residential propane tank is equipped with a system of valves and regulators that convert liquid propane to gas and transport it to the appliances in your home. Another system of gauges on the tank helps you and your propane supplier monitor propane levels and pressure.

Are residential propane tanks safe?

Propane tanks are safe because they must adhere to strict national and local safety regulations at every stage of service, from manufacture to installation to maintenance. When you own a tank, you are responsible for keeping it up to date and in top working order.

When you lease a propane tank from Legacy Coop, our technicians will conduct periodic safety inspections and check for signs of wear and tear each time we refill it. We also provide you with guidance on how to read the gauge levels and ensure all parts are running properly.

When we install your propane tank, we also comply with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) regulations. These include setting up the tank at least 10 feet from the home and making sure our technicians can fill and refill it safely.

Free Tank Monitor

The monitor transmits a signal to the driver when it is time for a delivery when you are on a Scheduled Delivery Route so that you do not have to worry about not having propane when you need it most.

Propane Tank Installations

If you are interested in installing a propane tank for your home, business, generator, etc we can help! We install both aboveground and underground tanks and we will start by helping you select the right size based on your home’s requirements and your desired propane tank size. Once we have a size selected we’ll provide you with a sales quote for your propane tank installation, and when it’s time to install the tank, we’ll find a time that works with your schedule to install your new tank at your home.
